Correct installation, use, and maintenance of planetary geared motors
Matters related to the installation and use of planetary geared motors.
1. Confirm whether the motor and gear motor are in good condition, and check whether the dimensions of the parts connecting the motor and the reducer match.
2. Unscrew the screw on the dustproof hole on the outer side of the reducer flange, adjust the clamping ring of the PCS system so that the hole is aligned with the dustproof hole, insert the hexagon socket and tighten. After that, remove the motor shaft key, and wipe the motor input shaft, the positioning boss, and the anti-rust oil on the connection parts of the reducer with gasoline or zinc-sodium water before installation.
3. Connect the motor and the reducer naturally. When connecting, it must be ensured that the concentricity of the output shaft of the reducer is consistent with the input shaft of the motor, and the outer flanges of the two are parallel, which can prolong the service life, and obtain ideal transmission efficiency and low noise. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to hit with a hammer during installation to prevent the bearing or gear from being damaged by excessive axial or radial force. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the tension bolts.
4. After the planetary gear motor is installed, it should be flexible to rotate by hand, and there is no sticking phenomenon. Before starting the machine, the connecting screws should be tightened, and the no-load test should be no less than 2 hours. The operation should be stable, without impact, vibration, noise, and oil leakage. When found, it should be eliminated in time. During use, check whether the tightening parts are loose or not regularly to ensure normal operation.
