The magnitude of the loss is proportional to the square of the resistance and current. This is what we often call copper loss. If the current is not a standard DC or sine wave, there are also harmonic losses; the iron core has a hysteretic eddy current effect, which also causes losses in an alternating magnetic field. Its size is related to material, current, frequency and voltage and is called iron damage. Copper damage and iron damage will manifest in the form of heating, affecting the efficiency of the micromotor. Micromotors generally pursue positioning accuracy and torque output, with relatively low efficiency, generally large currents, high harmonic components, and current alternating frequencies that vary with rotational speed. The degree of heating of a miniature DC geared motor mainly depends on its internal insulation level. The internal insulation performance is damaged at high temperature (above 130 degrees). Therefore, its surface temperature is normal at 70-80 degrees.
